What is Flick now?
Okay, first things first, what is Flick? Flick is an Instagram Marketing Platform that helps marketers, businesses, and creators save time and improve their results on Instagram.
Currently, our suite of tools focuses on three key areas:
- Hashtags (Find, Manage, Search, Analytics)
- Analytics (Account, Content, Audience, Profile)
- Scheduling (Automatic posting, Planning, Feed Preview)
When youâre talking with your audience about Flick, the best thing to remember is that they should use all three areas of the platform! Why? Because itâll help you increase your earnings (which is what you really want, right?). Typically, those who use ALL areas of our product continue to use our product longer. That means more revenue for you without putting in any additional work. Win-win.
What new features are coming to Flick?
Weâre excited to say that Instagram isnât going to be the only platform youâll be able to gather data on inside Flick! Weâre currently working on introducing new social options to Flick. This means youâll not only be able to schedule content on Facebook and TikTok, but soon youâll be able to schedule content to LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more. Itâs good to keep your audience in the loop with updates, as with every new feature comes more value for them.
How To Apply to be an Affiliate
- Start by clicking the âApply Nowâ button on the site, or by clicking here.
- Enter information about yourself (name, email, etc)
- Provide information on how you will promote Flick (the better we understand what youâd like to do, the more we can help). We do not accept applications that donât give any guidance on how you plan to promote Flick.
- Once applied, our in-house affiliate team will review your application. From here, you will either be accepted or rejected. You will receive an email from us with that decision.
Iâve been accepted. Now what?
Congratulations! Now that youâve been accepted, weâve got a couple of things we recommend to help you start making that money. Best thing to do first? Try Flick out for yourself! The more you know about the platform, the better you can explain its use to your audience. We also recommend reading this guide.

- Check out your Affiliate Dashboard (and visit each tab to understand it)
- Add a payout method (so you can get paid!)
- Visit the Affiliate Google Drive folder with all the marketing assets you could need!
Using and accessing your Affiliate Dashboard
Everything you do as an affiliate is managed by our third-party provider First Promoter. Youâll use this to access your dashboard. You will have been emailed a link to your dashboard by us, but if you canât find it you can access it by visiting https://flick.firstpromoter.com/login
once logged in, youâll be able to get a quick overview of your top-level analytics so far.
On this page, youâll also be able to edit or copy your affiliate link.
At the top of the dashboard, you can swap between the different analytics available within First Promoter. For example. A breakdown of your daily, weekly, or monthly performance.

Ways to promote Flick
Tutorials
What better way to get your followers to sign up for a product youâre promoting than by showing them how to USE the product? Tutorials are a great way for you to show off the benefits of Flick and why you think your followers should use it. Once they see how easy it is to use and the incredible benefits they get from it, theyâll likely sign up for it.
Product Reviews
One of the best ways to promote Flick? By doing a product review! By reviewing Flick, you can detail exactly how the product can benefit your audience to help peak their interest!
Mention within related content
Posting something online that ties in well to the affiliate product? Itâs the perfect time to mention the affiliate without seeming like a blatant #AD on your page.
Social Media
This is definitely a âduhâ one, but promote it on your social media channels! Your followers trust you for a reason, so let them know the reasons why they need the affiliate product over on all of your social media pages.
Podcasts
Have a podcast? Why not name-drop the affiliate product you want to promote? Itâs quick, easy, and could be an effective way to get your followers to sign up.
Adding to your âRecommended Resourceâ lists
If you have a resources page that you direct people to, add your affiliate product links to that resource page! Itâs a super simple way for people to see your favorite items and try them out for themselves.
Email Marketing
We love email marketing and if you have a dedicated list of subscribers, dropping your affiliate links into your emails can be an effective way for your followers to sign up and try the product.
In your Course / E-Book
Do you have digital products or courses that you currently offer? Start adding in your affiliate links to your courses and it can be a super effective way to get people to sign up for your affiliate products!
Private Community
Private communities are a great way to share informationâespecially affiliate links to products you love. Your private community completely trusts your opinion so sharing a link inside the community can generate more clicks and trials which means more revenue for you!
Referring your Clients
If you have a list of clients you work with and know that a certain tool will help make their working lives much easier, why not refer them?
Blogposts
We all love a blog post, especially if itâs providing us with information that will help us do our jobs way more effectively or make our lives so much easier! Start adding your affiliate links to your blog posts and youâll start seeing an increase in that monthly revenue.
Ways to not promote Flick
- Paid Social is strictly not allowed (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok Ads, etc)
- Paid Search (Google, Bing, etc)
- Listing on Coupon / Discount Sites
- On sites with adult or illegal content.
- Using fraudulent marketing tactics.

How do Commissions Work?
Once someone whoâs visited Flick via your link becomes a paying customer, you will be owed 20% of the revenue generated. Depending on the plan chosen, this will renew either monthly or yearly, and you will continue to earn 20% of the revenue generated.
How do Payouts work?
FirstPromoter takes the same popular approach as affiliate networks, resellers and payment providers take with their payouts â generating a payout for a specific interval and making the actual payment later. Flick has a net 30-day payment term. This window of 30 days is used to cover the scenario where affiliated customers initiate a chargeback or refund. On the first day of each month, all unpaid approved commissions generated are summed up and added as a âPending payout.â For example, if thereâs no minimum payout set, all pending payouts created on the 1st of February represent all approved and unpaid commissions generated during January. If there is a minimum payout on the campaign, the payout is generated only if the unpaid balance exceeds the minimum payout on the 1st of the month.
