Whether you’re a content creator, social media manager, or a small business, it’s important you have access to reliable information that can help you succeed on Instagram. We hope that by creating this free resource you can gain better clarity into how other accounts are performing, to help you discover areas you’re already doing well in, or places that could use a little more attention in order to improve your growth.

Whilst there are 40,000+ Instagram accounts linked to Open Benchmarks, some follower ranges will be more populated than others. Over time, we hope this data will become more and more reliable as the number of people who have linked their accounts to Flick, or contributed their analytics to Open Benchmarks grows.
If you’re not a Flick user and you’d like to contribute analytics from your Instagram account to Open Benchmarks, we ask that you fill out this quick survey to register your interest. We don’t yet have a way for you to do this without being a Flick customer, but we’re working on a solution to fix that so this resource has the best chance of helping more people.
Account Overview
This data is in relation to the account’s performance. This include things like the average percentage of people who follow an account after visiting the profile, or the total weekly reach of that account.
Feed Posts
Scroll through to see a breakdown of Instagram feed-related posts. You'll see how your Instagram stacks up against others' posts, including image, videos posts and Carousels. Currently, we can't show analytics for Reels until Instagram releases this in their API (sad!). However, as soon as we have that data, we will show it here!
Story Posts
When it comes to Instagram Stories, how many people are watching your story posts all the way through? Uncover the average amount of Instagram Stories people are posting per day, the number of impressions and engagement they receive, and how many slides are actually viewed before followers start to get...bored.
