Instagram Stories Poll stickers are about to get a major upgrade! The sticker, one of our favorite features to see how your audience is feeling on a certain subject matter, has remained fairly the same since they were officially launched back in 2017.

At the moment, you can ask a question to your audience and then put two answers in the poll that your audience can choose from. Simple. Easy. Straight-forward. However, what annoyed a lot of users is that the sticker isn’t customizable at all … and you can only have two choices. Which is incredibly limiting!

Now though, it looks like Instagram is testing out a new Poll sticker that has text customization and the ability to add up to FOUR different choices for your followers to choose from! So now instead of whacking the quiz sticker to gauge how your audience feels about something, you can stick to the classic poll.

It looks like this feature is still being tested and rolled out to users, so be sure to keep an eye on your Stories!

Need help adding a poll sticker to your Instagram Stories?

We’ll give you a step-by-step guide:

Go to your Story (either by clicking the + sign at the top of your Instagram feed or by swiping right to open up a new story).
Create a story
Once your story is created, click the smiley face icon at the top of the screen. This is the sticker icon.
Click “Poll”
Tap the text above the poll to add in your question and select each answer button and fill out the different options.
Tap done.

It’s honestly that quick and easy! Once your story is posted, you can easily go back and check the status of your poll and see which answer your followers chose … hehe!
