Instagram wants you to get sentimental AF with their new Playback feature, which will allow you to relive your Stories from 2021. It will share a curated series of 10 stories that you can then edit, add or remove to create a perfect year-in-review for your followers.
Soon, users will see a message in their IG feed asking them to create a Playback. From there, if you see a 2021 Story you want to add, click on the “2021” sticker to view and add it to your Playback.
Because the social media platform is all about video at the moment, it’s really not a surprise that they are more focused on Story sharing over the ever-popular Top Nine from years past. You would think they would have embraced that and taken it over as their own, instead of having people rely on third-party apps to create but what do I know?
Playback releases today to all users as a limited feature available only for the next few weeks. So get it while it’s hot!
If you’re looking for ways to spice up your Instagram Story content, we recommend taking a look through our blog post on how to get the most out of your Stories.
