Timeline – aka the Facebook wall is like a profile that includes your information and a collation of status updates, posts, and more that you have posted over the years
Messenger – an instant messaging service where Facebook users can send direct messages either one-to-one or in a group
Insights – a free analytics tool within Facebook that provides information about your page’s performance and your audience. This is available for business pages only
Ads – these are paid posts that businesses use to promote their products/ services to Facebook users
Groups – a space for invited members to come together to post content, share
Events – a tool that allows Facebook users to create event listings and invite guests
Marketplace – a place where all users (regardless of whether they have a business page) can buy and sell products. similar to eBay.
To create a Facebook business page, follow these steps:
Go to Facebook and log in to your personal account.
Click on the downward-facing arrow in the top right corner of the screen and select "Create" from the dropdown menu.
From the "Create" menu, click on "Page."
Select "Business or Brand" as the type of page you want to create.
Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your business's name and contact information.
Add a profile picture and cover photo for your business page.
Click "Continue" to proceed to your new business page.
Once your business page is set up, you can start posting updates, sharing content, and engaging with your audience. You can also use Facebook's Ads Manager to create and manage advertising campaigns for your business.
