Instagram Threads has started testing a new “tag topics” feature … that is basically a hashtag without the hash.
You can now tag certain topics that your Thread is about by searching topics by using the “#” to search, however, the hash will not appear when you select a topic. Make it make sense.
The new feature will only allow you to add one tag to your Thread to not overload the post and will appear as a clickable blue link. So why the move away from the hash symbol? And why the limit to just one on a Thread? Meta hasn’t made a clear announcement as to why but it does seem like more and more people are going away from the humble hashtag. |

YouTube wants you to make music 🎶 |
It’s time to become your favorite musician and start making music just like them. YouTube has just released “Dream Track,” where you can create music that sounds exactly like your favorite artist via AI. Is this legal? Apparently so. The new feature replicates the vocal stylings of some of the most famous musicians out there like :
Sia, Charli XCX, John Legend, T-Pain, Charlie Puth and so many more. The songs will only be up to 30 seconds long and will be used on YouTube Shorts. The artists have given their permission to have people use their voices, but it also seems a little bit risky? Or is that just me? 😬 |
Will I ever post without overthinking the post? No!!! |
